ABOUT SAMANTHA BROOKE
Samantha Brooke, co-founder, designer and owner of Waring Brooke is an award winning knitwear designer. Her graduate collection was spotted by the likes of WGSN, Drapers, the Telegraph, and was labelled 'one to watch'.
At London Graduate Fashion Week Samie was scouted by top designer Alberta Ferretti at London’s Graduate Fashion Week in 2010, when she was nominated for a Visionary Knitwear Award.
Her career took off in Italy where she became Ms Ferretti’s Head Knitwear Designer on womenswear, working under the renowned label’s guidance for one year.
DESIGN CAREER
Working at the Italian HQ Aeffe working alongside Ms Ferretti for two seasons, Samie created catwalk looks and designed wholesale for the diffusion line Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti.
On her return to the UK, Samantha freelanced selling both womenswear and menswear designs worldwide to elite fashion houses including Karl Lagerfeld, Hugo Boss and Armani. This led to Max Studio appointing her as Head Knitwear Designer, where her beautiful and technically advanced pieces increased knitwear sales. Running the department for five years, she saw samples through to production. Her designs were featured in high profile publications like Vogue and Tatler.

WHERE WARING BROOKE STARTED
Waring Brooke has two founding members: Samantha Brooke & Megan Turner, long-term friends who initially bonded over their love of the countryside, dogs and passion for business.
They decided that Sam’s skill sets in exceptional knitwear design, fashion and passion for quality, combined with Megan’s attention to detail, extensive business & sales experience and passion for customer service, complemented each other perfectly.
We are passionate about the move away from fast fashion which is polluting our planet. One solution lies in buying less and choosing better quality items that are made as ethically as possible, another is to not rush straight to the bin with your hole-ridden clothes. We also offer a hand-sewn repair service for customers to restore their favourite items which encourages people to become more aware of waste and living sustainably.
Waring Brooke fully supports the #slowfashion movement.
Megan Turner
Megan Turner has a wealth of experience in commercial business, sales, PR and marketing. More recently Megan has worked as the EA to the Duchess of Rutland, assisting her with the management of her commercial business and 16,000 acre Estate. Following the success of that role the Duchess promoted Megan into a new role running their large prestigious Game Shoot. Shoot sales significantly improved which led to a subsequent role for Megan as Business Development Manager for the Belvoir Castle events department, identifying opportunities to grow the business and improving sales.
Megan has a keen eye for detail and throughout her career has successfully organised country pursuits PR events in the UK and USA, private events which have featured in Tatler Magazine, managed film, photo shoots and had dealings with the press and high-profile clientele.
